Contacted Batteries Plus and they want $199 for the battery and they do not have it in stock. I found it online for $149 or so but I'd have to mail order it. Any idea's where else I can check locally for this battery? Fixing to call CompUSA but not sure if I'm going to have much luck :(

Have you tried a used one from Ebay? I got a Dell battery that usually sells for $200 for $30 on Ebay, and they guarantee against DOA usually. You are taking chances with used batteries but I have gotten two and both worked great.

Ya, eBay doesn't have a great selection of these batteries. There are a few listings but most of the prices are going for what I can buy from an online retailer so no real great savings :(

Picked up a battery last night on eBay for $74. Hope I don't get screwed :D

Got the battery in the mail yesterday and had it charge last night while I was doing some surfing. Works great!

Rob, I got it off of eBay and got a great deal on it compared to what they go for new. I'd look there first.
