jc would have a chance if there was a 100 mph wind in front of mine or nicks car and a 100mph wind behind his...:D jc is the 03 bitch ls1..:D all people talk about these cars are heavy and now these heavy fast mothers are starting to run shit.all i have to say is i told everyone these cars would be fast back in may when i bought my car...i had one of the first ls1 back in 1998 and i told everybody then ls1's were the shit,but now there is a new bad ass in town and it called the 03 cobra...;) i just can't wait for the head and cam version or kenny bell....people just don't get it these cars are bad.....

Someone that wasn't in their right mind would say these cars wouldn't be fast. Fuck, they have forged everything and a blower, why in the hell wouldn't they be fast ?!?! They're cool cars, but not all they're cracked up to be, IMO. They SHOULD be running good with all the shit that's done to them.

They were cracked up to be, high 12 second cars stock. They were cracked up to be low 12 sec cars with bolt ons. And now they are a few K from being 10 sec cars. Is that not enough for you?

Nick, I think junkstang88 is thinking about the money factor. He's probably putting a 35k '03 Cobra against a ~10k 408 w/ blower Fox body. It's the same arguement I used to have with the old 5.0 guys 3-4 years ago. There is no solution.

Im with David on this one, I say leave the price of the vehicle out of it. Its all about what you want to drive. I know Nick hasnt spent a whole lot of money on his car as far as modding it goes and Im sure its an easy mid 11 at 120+ as it sits right now.......as a matter of fact I would put money on it.......... :D

I know the money thing David, its just the "cracked up to be" comment that bothers me. I mean, how many cars out there can you buy for 35k and put 1k in mods and run 11s? I guess I will just never understand comments like that.

Well all I can say right now is it's a moser 12 bolt with 1100 miles on it.The only thing I don't like is that it has 4.10 gears but I can live with that:D

Off Topic quickly-

This is an improved version of the PHP setup I am running now for less money. For the guys with pulley/chips I would highly recommend this type of setup. It netted me 27/24 rwhp/tq along with instant throttle response across the rpm range(required for those pesky LS1 encounters). My next tune tomorrow should net more with the higher boost setup. :)

JC, after paying +35k for a Mustang, money is no object for these guys! Besides, the new car guys always get bent over. I remember when lids were ~$200 from MTI.
