Yea, well if you were there, you know that the track was overrun by bracket cars that are slower than dirt... Well most of them are. I still don't understand a full out stripped racing car with huge slicks that traps less than my car with no boost... :(

Anyways, I got 2 wicked ass passes in. The first, I was trying to get my datalogger all set up and the computer died on the burnout when it went to screensaver, so I tried to reboot, but the ass-hole I was racing didn't care to wait and double staged before I was done burning out. I spun badly, missed second, spund second missed third and let out. It ran a 13.4 @ 87 with a 2.28 60 foot and a 8.4 1/8th@98...

Second pass was worse. I got the tires a ton hotter, the car was warmer, and much more throttle happy. I launched at idle, took it to 5K, shortshifted, locked out a-fucken-gain so took me bout 2 seconds to get it in second, then unloaded the tires bout 20 feet out in second and shortsifted 3rd to hook up. Spun 3rd, finally grabbed about the 1/8th mile mark, took it to 7, powershifted 4th amd ran my worst pass ever... 13.49@126.8... This was with a 9.4X@91.0 BTW...:p I hate my fucken car... I won't be taking it back to the track till it gets tires. It doesn't like to hook up at all anymore, but at least I got it to go straight while it was burning out with some suspension tuning:rolleyes:

Aw-well,... Anyone have a trailer they can let me borrow for Friday night. I already got the slicks lines up:cool:

Why do you need a trailer to use slicks? Shoot I drive 2 1/2 hours to Hallsville on slicks, 4,300 lb. car too!

Sorry you were having problems...

Don't appreciate being called an "asshole". If you got problems then either deal with it or pull out. The starting line isn't a place to be rebooting computers.

Better luck next time.

So Far so good... We can run if you want, But I am going to be babying it down the track to like a mid-11, so after seeing your times, you will smoke me! But sure it will be fun if I can make it...

To the 96Mystic guy... How do you know it was you? Unless you have a Black 93 Cobra look-alike GT or maybe it was a Cobra, they all look the same to me... It had a loud ass blower and slicks. The pass was a 10.99@ 124.

And yes, you are an ass hole if you do not stage properly. Anyone that drives like a fucken dip-shit and doesn't give the other driver a chance to get ready is an ass-hole if you don't. If you want to be a retard, you will get treated like one.;) Next time anyone does that, I will just sit there and wait for them to back up.:p

The starting line isn't a place for a retard to double stage before the other guy is done burning out either GUY!

Well shouldnt the guy on the starting line tell him to back off of the second bulb? Usually they courtesy stage during events and not some test and tune shit.

Hey Matt, I fully understand and beleive what you say about prestagin, but it was my belief that if both the stage and prestage lights are on and the other guy doesnt even prestage, it will go on without you in 15 secs.... Am I nutts or is this true?

It was me...

Not trying to be a dick. I don't remember being completely staged before you made it to the line...if I was then I should have backed off. I am usually considerate and wait til both are pre-staged before staging. Sorry dude.

Usually in competition they will back you off the line if you are staged before the other driver has pre-staged...but not at TnT.

ProStar...I don't believe there is a time limit on when the lights trigger. The starter on the line activates the tree when the driver(s) have staged.

Damn, I've been racing for a long time and I didn't know about that. I guess I've pissed off a few people. I thought the only thing that mattered was that you both made it to the line.

Who said anything about starting my car? I was waiting to burn out because the mop guy was in my way, and the other guy just went on up and double bulbed before I could start my burn out...:(
