We would like to thank everyone for coming out and making this an extremely successful event. We had great racers, a great crowd, and great weather. The racing was very exciting and the cars in the car show were immaculate.

A special thanks goes out to each of our sponsors, including Steve Pasztor (Zaino Steve) and Scott Jamison, for making this possible. We are already planning on making this a twice-a-year event.

We would also like to thank all of the local car clubs and forums for helping us spread the word.

If you have any comments or suggestions on this race, or on the upcoming Street Legal Championships next year, please E-mail me and I will be glad to discuss anything.

Once again, thanks to everyone for making this a great show and we are looking forward to next year's event.

It's run 6.3X's before. It seems to be pretty consistant at the low 6.40's now. It's good to see him back on track.

Chris (DRS) ran some 6.7X's in the MDR budget ride leaving at idle and not getting into the gas until way down the track. When he stalls up that 5k converter, it's gonna fly :D

I could only muster some 7.7x's out of my stock motored Z28. I guess that it's time to start pulling out some weight out if I'm going to start trying to catch up with you guys. That thing is heavy

All in all, it was a fun day.

A few things that really won't help, so don't bother: converter, short-belt, pulley, weight reduction(waist of time)... Just trying to help..

That was a fun day and well put together by Denton Dragway. It ran very smoothly.

I pulled out my back seat, spare tire, jack, and front sway bar (daily driving without that is kinda squirrely) and gained nearly 2 mph and .2 on my motor times.

8.7x @ 82.x w/ 2.0x 60'

and somehow managed to stay the same ET on juice but w/1 more mph since last time I was out there.

8.0x@ 88 w/ 1.8x 60'

I want 7's damnit. lol

Time to go to Ennis now before they close and see how deep into the 12's I can get.

I went to the dyno and tuned my jettings a little and pulled
375 rwhp.:D
