I bearly pulled it off. It was hard, but I did it.
Started out the day with a few time trial passes
first time trial pass
8.30@81.77
1.72 60'
second time trial pass
8.34@82.71
1.74 60'
third time trial pass
8.29@81.78
1.71 60'
That was my new personal best, actually all those passes were my personal best :D
Now the brackets started
I pulled up to do a burn out, went threw the water, and started to do a burn out, and it sucked, so I backed up again, and got more water, and tried to do it again, but the only thing that spun was my clutch:eek:  . I was scared so I left soft, but the clutch didnt spin, thank god
first bracket pass
8.80 on a 8.27 dial
I tree'd him, and got a better 60' a 1.9 to a 2.26. Enough to win.
Second round
I got a bi run, shhhhewww, let the clutch cool down.
third round. I was paired up with another street tired stang. Good race, I tree'd him and pulled 1.75 60', and took the win with a 8.37 to a 8.27 dial in.
Semi's
I was paired up with an LS1 camaro, one of the torque central guys. He was on dr's and had an auto.
I bearly beat him, it was all in the 60' and reaction. He ran a 8.25 ton an 8.25 dial in, but I beat his reaction, and 60'
Finals.
In the finals I was up agains a sweet as chevelle, he was running bad ass all day long.
I ran a 8.37 to a 8.33 dial in, and he ran a 7.3 to 7.2 dialin, but he red lighted :D
SO I WON. :D
I had a great time, I got free money, a cool plaque, and my new best times :D
