New Track times!!!!! Now it's turbo time.

Well I went out to Hallsville Saturday to see if I could get some of my fuel problems figured out before I put the turbo on, and I was very pleased with the new times. Previous best was a 11.68@118.89mph. Here's the new times.

1st pass: 11.23@119.98

2nd pass: 11.20@160.29 Clock screwed up

3rd pass: 11.00@122.74

4th pass: 60' = 1.55
1/8 = 6.986
1/8 mph = 98.70
1/4 = 10.972
1/4 mph = 122.78

5th pass: 11.03@122.19

6th pass: 11.05@122.82

The track got slick when the sun started going down, so I didn't back up the 10 sec pass, but the mph was still there. Now it's time for some boost.

That's the one. The 8.25:1 comp. is hurting it a little, but it has gone way faster than I expected.

Looks like some low 9's high 8's are in your future.

I saw your car run, and thought it already had the turbo on it! I saw the dump pipe before the fender and just assumed you had it installed. Nice runs!

Thanks Man. I've had a lot of people ask me about that. I've still got the headers turned forwards, with some 3" pipe welded to them so the exhaust will get out of the engine bay. I wish I would have had more time to stop by and meet all of you. When I walked through there, it seemed everyone was pretty busy. Maybe next time I will get to meet everyone.

Although I think the 8's are very possible with this combo, I'm expecting it to be a good low 9 competitor. I'm trying to be optimistic about the car and I don't want to get my hopes up on what it will do. I guess only time will tell. I better get to work on that turbo set-up.

only thing thats is gonna be hard is that you know the 8's are there in the back of your mind. but hell even low low 9's is badass!!:D :eek:

Well just on the motor it has done better than I thought it would do, so I can't be to disappointed. I just hope to get the turbo on there and get it back where I can drive it on the street again. I miss going out on the weekends in it. That would be sweet to take the wife out for dinner in a low 9 sec car.:D

Only Mike.... I would love to take my wife out to dinner in a high 10 second car but I dont see that happening any time soon. :(
