Well I finally go down to dfw to get some real runs in at denton on friday night. It was around 40 degrees, really cold and the track was not hooking great but heres how my runs went.
I had a base shake down run of like 8.6 at 85 mph with 16 degrees of timing and 36psi fuel pressure
then I put a better tune on it and

Run 1 Timing 18, Fuel Pressure 35
reaction .529
60ft 2.100
E.T 8.482
mph 86.438

Run 2 Timing 19 Fuel Pressure 35
Reaction 1.022 <--- The guy red lit with like a .098, shocked me
60ft 2.021
E.T. 8.315
mph 87.157

Run 3 Same tune
Reaction .670
60ft 1.816
E.T 8.158
mph 87.123

Final Run Timing 19 Fuel pressure 33
Reaction .793 <- Have reaction probs. when people red light
60ft 1.797
E.T 8.014
mph 87.603

I had on E/T streets at about 12psi, the track was cold and it was hard to get a good 60ft, couldn't be too agressive. It looks like I have 7.80's in it on the motor, which is good. Combo is the following
TFS Heads, home ported exhaust side, milled .40 thous. Custom buddy rawls cam, tfs track heat intake, longtubes, 30# injectors, and other bolt ons. Next comes the hose, its hooked up, just waiting on a dyno tune to make sure everything is in order. Hunting for lowwwww 7's Later Chase

Why so much timing? Most respond better with 13-16 degrees.

Aluminum heads like more timing, most tfs headed cars run 17-20 degrees of timing.

I want to run you again soon cliff, I am gonna try to go agressive on my tune and see what happens. We should run over thanksgiving in dallas, that would be best because I know my tune there.

Jeremy or Tanner, you guys are funny. I should have known that blon89lx was you, you spelled surge wrong on your post. Its surge, not serge. Anyway, your car is not blown, its much slower than mine, and it is spray painted. Later Chase
