11.26 actually is the record. That .30 was his first pass off the trailer too....


Mikes car has come a long way in the past few weeks....chalk it up to the pulley weight red. and TUNING! :)

10's are in the book. We are trying to set the record out further so its a little harder to beat this time around. I wanna be the first car in the 10's. We've got some ideas floating around that might get us there. You'll know when we get this thing back to Dallas with the new record timeslip in our hands.:p

93...the car still had the dash and cage in it, with the ac, ps, ect. The carpet was removed, door panels, and back plastic....along with a lightweight battery. With him in it, the scaled said 3200#'s.
I think 10's might be doable in perfect weather ;)

bad ass times man, i wish i could join y'all in the hunt for 10's but no dice...

anyway's take out some more weight and run at hrp with some good weather and it's yours....

Bob Cosby just ran 11.6@114.8 in his internally stock 99 Cobra.

Sounds about right for a car making 350rwhp or so and a big stall.

Problem with that MIke 89 lx is that the car only makes 336 rwhp but makes 396 ft lbs of torque. ;):p

FYI, Bob's does not have the stock tranny or rearend in his car.

Actually Bob put the stock t5 back in. He is just running a 8.8 from a gt, does this make more hp or something?

I was close 350rwhp, and a big stall will unleash more hp. But nonetheless nice times.
