This looked fairly new and it was running 9.2's.....:eek: Couldn't believe my eyes. He was running a early 90's corvette and it was only running 9.1's LOL!:D

That's kind of scary!! Was it a Grand Cherokee V8? If so, that plus some spray should be pretty easy 9.2's.

Back in the early 90's, the Jeep came with a 220 HP 4.0L motor. I was like, What the Fug?. That's about the same as my stang , but with less weight. I never did see one run, though.

Actually he did not have any spray, it had the 360 RT motor in it. He said they came out for one year with this option. He said all he did to it was put a K&n and some type of computer upgrade. Pretty damn impressive. Damn all wheel drive would launch.

They did have a 5.9l option for a few years...(360cid)...no way will it run 9.2's with a filter/chip though, *spish* *spish*...

the Grand Cherokee 5.9 limited is the best sleeper SUV of all time. Look for the hood louvers and chrome 5 start wheels. They may not be much in the 1/4, but with AWD and insane low end torque, they can be pretty stout in the 1/8th. I saw 2 at denton a few weeks ago with identical mods(intake, chip) running consistent 9.4s, one even busted a 9.3.
