Anyone see "Signs"?

The movie itself was crazy. (Aliens that can jump 10 vertical feet but, can't kick a pantry door down)

But the way it showed that some people see God working in everything good or bad, and others see just nothing.

The title Signs was at all about the crop circles.

Yes I thought it was a very good movie...

I did not see it yet, but if you say it cool then I probably will see it when it comes out on VHS. I thought it was interesting though when about 1 week before the movie came out there was a Special News exclusive (Dateline, 60 minutes, or some show) on how the crop circles and stuff are really made. I wonder if that boosted the viewership???

Haven't seen it yet, really want to. During the time it was first out, there was a show on TLC, or Discovery, about crop signs through history, 40, 50 years ago, both in England, and here. Some CRAZY designs, not just the simple circles and lines we've seen lately, that a 4yr old could stamp out ... but complex geometric shapes, fractals, 3D designs. All pefectly executed ... overnight.

You know, I can see someone being able to do that, in daylight, and someone flying overhead to relay where to go, what degree to turn, etc... to be able to get them so perfect, and it'd take a few days at least. But these pop up overnight, they take up acres of land, and they are perfect complex mathematical, and geometric shapes. One was even a face, no doubt about it. The face was so large they were able to shade it. It's hard to explain, but if I can find a picture of it, you'll see right off what I'm talking about. Seeing something like that ... it makes you think.

They even showed the first 3 that we got here, simple circles, and lines yes ... but they were in 3 different states, or counties ... and when you look at where they are located on a map by plotting the exact Longitude/Latitude, down to the seconds ... even though there were many miles in between them, they still formed a perfectly straight line across. It's concievable someone doing that with some heavy GPS equipment ... but it still kinda makes you think.

I wish I'd had a tape when that was on. :(
