Carb help

Well its just when i am driving i will be goin about 30 or so in like 2nd gear and the car will just die. the engine shuts off and i have to pop the clutch to turn it back on.. and sometimes it won't so i have to pull over. so when i do that i try to turn it over and i have to hold the gas pedal down to get it to turn on. like it gets stuck or something. i don't know what the deal is. and i also tryed unplugging that back pipe on the car to the valve cover pipe and all it did was make it boggy and run really wierd . like i would rev it and it would take forever for it to get back down to idle.
It sucks ass i am getting so pissed. and my vaccume advance wasn't working so i hooked it up to some other vaccume line. i have so many vaccume lined that need to be hooked up also. but it didn't do that untill like 2 months or so ago.
i dunno whats up

also when i slam the pedal to rev it or whatever it kind of bogs and then revs.
