Should I make a thread in the back porch asking those who want to "see" this forum to PM me or just leave the admission as is. (mainly when they're interested enough they'll ask)
Will it just bring in agitators?

Oops. I already did what you just said, but I was going to discern wether or not those that wanted in would be a nice or not nice addition. Lee

I think that this request is resonable, but I think the only way one should be let in is if God is in their heart or trying to find a way to Christ. I think instigators and irate people should be left out for now.
<--- my 2 cents

Yeah, it's cool and all. I do agree that we shouldn't let just anyone in here.
I don't want just believers in here but, we don't need folks who have an outright hate for God or religion either coming in here just to curse and act stupid. Of course all I have to do is pull up the access registry and hit delete! hahahahahahha
People with different views like DW ;) are welcome. :D

Well, I'm not sure. Because then alot of people will start crying because we have out own forum. But, then again this is kind of what people wanted. Because, this way we are not pushing our beliefs on them as they would put it. I guess post it.

Accually why don't you post up a thread and ask, Who is a Christian on this board? Then when people post up you can PM them.

I'd say let them know and have them send you a PM. If problems arise, you can always use moderating powers. :D

BTW, I sure don't mind seeing the religious threads in the Back Porch...It reminds me who will forever be acquaintances and who are potential friends. :)

Are you going to define Christianity...or just anyone who considers themselves "religious"? <---I HATE that word, BTW.
I mean, 70+% of the US claims to be "Christian". Do all of them know the Lord Jesus as Savior? Uh...I have my doubts.
I'm not trying to be exclusionary. I really don't care who is let in...especially since I don't get out here that often. I think getting into heated debates (which the goal from the opposing view is just to make a Christian look bad 99% of the time anyway) will defeat the purpose of the forum, though.
Please note I said "heated"...the civil, polite debates are fine. But its too easy to let people get under your skin and then fly off the handle...say something you wish you hadn't, poorly represent Christ, etc.
So those who are known to just stir the pot and do it in an angry tone/demeanor...? I'd consider leaving them out. You can always PM them. Better yet, take 'em to lunch and meet face to face.
