View Full Version : Major scare thought I broke something

I took my car to the dealership because it was missing and wouldn't start... then run fine... then fall on its face... Couldn't hardly start it sometimes.... After taking her in to the dealership My Service manager calls me... Rick we have a major problem... You blew your engine and it was because you disabled the boost bypass...

I have been upfront with them the whole time... He even told me to take my chip out before bringing it in... Anyway.. He was joking... It was a bad sensor on the fuel relay....

I have my car back...., and now it won't di e on the track..... (at least for now) It is a Ford though... HA HA... Feels stronger than before...

I think that is a common problem. I had a friend that had the same thing go out. It'd buck and sputter-run fine-then sputter some more. Glad to hear you got it straightened out.

Yeah.... but he is very cool... We have an understanding... He promised to never void my warranty... That doesn't mean he wuill always fix it, but he won't void my warranty with documentation.....
