Well first with the little pulley. I was on my way home from a cruise with my dad. He had never been in the car, so I took him for a ride around Plano area. I was cruising up Preston, and notice a beautiful Roush pass us. I look over at him and say hmmm maybe he will race. My dad shrugged and we caught up to him, and got lucky to hit a light together. It was a beautiful Black/black Convertible with HRE 5 stars. One of the nicest looking Roush's or SNs I have ever seen. I yelled nice car at him, and he smiled back. I rode the clutch a little revving it lightly and he was starring for the lights to change as he was inching forward too. I was like hell yea, I hope he gets on it. I roll into first up to about 3,000, and I hear him on it. I roll hard into the throttle to about 5,500, and he gets about 1/2 a car out on me, since I can't do shit in first, but a sweet burn out. I shift second, and pop the clutch a little hard because it unsettled the tires, he is almost a car out on me by now. I roll it hard into second and go all woo-hoo. The throttle flashed to 7,000 before I could lift, and I let out about 1/2 throttle to let the tires hook. As soon as they did I was past him like he hit a car in front of him. I put about 6 cars on him by third, and top of third I was out about 15 lengths. I have no idea when he lifted, but it was a fun run none the less. The guy was really cool about it too. He pulled up and said " man what kind of power are you laying to the wheels?" I said oh about 600 or so. He said damn, smiled, and took off. Very cool guy. Very very bad ass Stang. I asked him before he got too far away if it was a Stage 3 and he confirmed that it was. I always love smoking cars that cost a ton of money. Too bad his car gets the wool, after my dad reminded me...:(

My cherry was popped a long time ago. Back in the day, Denton was like an all you can eat buffet and Mustangs were the tamers main coarse. Though I did have to eat a few chevys when I got the chance, camaros and chevyII were pretty good also.

You will kill me either way, remember you have 100 RW on me... haha, and 250 lbs lighter. I would have a better chance from a dead stop.:(

Sure, i'll take some. I think you better go ahead and get that igloo on there though....or crank her on up to 25 pounds of boost!

<--- orders a 55 gallon drum of C16... an 80 tooth blower pulley, and another NTK UEGO!

<---already ordered his 15 pound pulley. 5 more pounds of boost, hell it might run 110 mph then!

It better! Prestage.com says that a 3230 pound car making 738.9 rwhp ought to run a 6.0 @ 115.... but I'm thinking that 6.30's at 113 or so is more realistic with the 5 speed. We'll see!

Hell, it ran 6.42 @ 108 with a messed up tune.... it oughtta run a hell of a lot faster now!

BTW, I can still take the bumpers and a lot more stuff off!

yea, i figure with a hogan sheetmetal intake, a set of his heads and a dash mount IC that I should be able to finally outrun STROKD.

And oh yea, something is definitely fubared on that EPEC because my datalog shows my 83s running at 53% duty cycle at 10 psi, 6500 RPM, and 60 psi of FP.

Hrm... maybe I'll drop superpro an email and see what he thinks.

When I last dynoed my car it still showed 110% duty cycle.

That doesn't sound too far off - it is only 10psi...

What duty cycle were you expecting?

Andrew

What A/F ratio are you running?

Af was swinging back and forth between 12.7 and 11.5. i don't have all that nailed down yet, plus I was pedaling too and that was playing havoc with it....I'm going to richen it up and then run it all out and go from there.

As for what duty cycle I was expecting, well a little more than 53%!

Interesting... I'm demanding 11:1 to keep it a bit safe, and that's what I got according to the wideband on the dyno. I'm still seeing that high duty cycle... there's no way.

I bet that I'm moving the same amount of air that you are now. Something's gotta be wrong.

Well you know that the airflow HAS to be close with two cars that weigh close to the same and the same mph it has to be within reason. i bet its just basing that off some other calculation...mass air meter voltage or something stupid like that.

Dude what crack are you smoking? My car is DETUNED and is not fast... I have to drive it daily, and can't afford to break it. Your car is quicker in the 1/8th than mine when you were on motor. I am no race for either of you two. Sorry to upset you.

Show me where I did this....i have no idea what you are talking about. To be honest, it would be almost impossible for me to do a better job than you do yourself.

What the fuck is it with you and that car anyway, no one can make a fucking joke about that thing without you getting all bent out of shape. No one is going to respect you because you have a fast car, haven't you figured that out yet?

Yes because there are so many fucken hillbilles on this site. I respect others for what they have built, but I guess I am too nice of a guy, and not a fucken redneck like most seem to act. Sorry, I just want everyone to mind their own business. My car is not fast, and I do not need to race someone with a car that is 2 seconds faster than mine. You don't see me calling out Mike Murillo or anything...

Yeah... now if i had gone with more cubes then I could run a hell of a lot less boost... that would be more reliable. Ah well.... my little 348 CID motor will have to suffice for now.

Sorry your car isn't running right AL...

How did this turn from Strokd's first offical kill to how to fix the duty cycle of your car lol? j/k

Congrats on your speed in the 1/8th AL, when are you gonna run it @ Ennis or have you and I missed the times?
