Jayson lives here in Lubbock, he used to have MTI 422 TA. You can find all the info about the car here....http://www.jperacing.com/
Jayson built the motor himself, and did all the work.

No prob. Jayson's vette is as tame as stock at idle, you can't even tell it has a cam. He really did his homework with this combo.

ARH, I assume it's the Yellow Vette. But, it could be another one.
Jason is also good friends with Trevor (SOM SS & works at LG) and put a hotcam into his 5.3L +99 Silverado and figured out a +50rwhp gain at 6000rpms isn't too shabby for just a cam swap.

Different car, thats a Z-oh. This vette is a big cubic inch motor, auto, and N20.

I dunno 10.40's@134 with a stroker ls1 and nos in a light weight vette to me is average. Are there not ls6 vettes going 10's@130 or better on motor??

I agree, but I dont know about the 10's on motor in a zo6 although its possible.
Jaysons vette is a 347ci LS1 with H/C and 150 shot. He came in second place with a 10.5, I think thats pretty respectable.

GoergeC has a all bore motor that runs 10.30s on motor with a glide in it....in a camaro
David, point is its not the supercharged vette that you were making it out to seem like....or maybe I just took it that way  LOL....but I think I know better than that ;)

just to clear some chit up.
Jason Mangrum has a red FRC. 346 (JE pistons), heads, 228/228 (not THAT tame at idle), intake, TNT 150. 10.5@137
dont know what speedworks has.
when you spell Jason's name JAYSON, it looks like MTI's Jayson Cohen. He had/has a Yellow coupe with a 422 + TNT. it went 11.04 NA long ago. he took it back to stock to sell it, but never did aparantly. dont know if he still has the car now.
RYan
p.s. GeorgeC's ....camaro is lighter than Jason's vette, and probably most others. well, its close at least. he's close to 3100lbs. 382, solid roller, etc.
also, JPE is Joseph Potak Racing. HE did all the work. Jason probably helped though.

Fastest ones I've seen/heard of (and that's not saying much, but over at z06forum.com there's a lot of highly modded cars) is one of MTI's "Z07" cars running a 422 in the high-10s @ over 130 and on a reasonable shot of spray (150hp or so) in the high-9s at over 145.

Since I'm damn good freinds with Jospeh, and hear the car almost every Thursday at Sonic I would say it sounds very tame at idle. Do you live here in Lubbock? FYI I saw Jason put the heads and and vavle springs on the motor.
