I'll be in a 01 GT all next week. The car has flows and ORH.

Who want's some from a dead stop!?


Anyone got some slicks I can borrow? This thing is gonna run mid 8s at Kennedale.

I'm pretty close to stock. I would much rather race the TA though, I think the GT would be too fast.

Watch out, you're liable to run an 8.1 in that GT and then what would people say. I can hear 302paf now....".JC has heads/cam and runs an 8.1, he gets a GT with slicks and runs an 8.1, tell me which is better?" :)

My old GT ran 8.6 on nittos w/ 2.0 60' w/ pullies,ORH and flows.

I gaurantee that B's car is gonna run a 8.3!

Morey, does your car run ok in the 1/8th on the bottle? If my car comes together, I wouldn't mind racing you at Kennedale. I'm not making any guarantees, the car may spit a valve out and blow up....it's any LS1 after-all:)

I'll get back with you and let you know.

If it has to be at the track we have to do it at Ennis. I cant launch my car worth a crap so I will need a little more room to suck you up.
If you want to do that you bring your slicks and Ill just run drag's.

I cant do both, my little LS1 cant handle all that racing, or all those miles.

1/4 Mile, Friday......Ennis.
I gaurantee this will be two weeks in a row you will be somebody's biotch...........:D :D.

Aren't the O Reilly nationals out there that w/e at Ennis?? Someone told me, so I'm not 100% positive. I was wanting to go out there that w/e too, but if the BIG cars are out there, I don't see them letting street cars run on Fri night.

big thumper i would not say my car is fast in the 1/8 mile.i need a strait axel and some e.t drags and subframe conectors.then i think it will be pretty fast.it has the toruqe 612ft.,but you have to hook it up.right now i would break the irs on the spray & slicks.all in time....:)

My guess is 8.50's. Those stock gears really hold the car back. I ran my sis's car on ET Drags with the same mods + pulleys and it would try to nosedive. I guess maybe it needed a higher rpm launch I dunno. Ive got some 4.30's in the garage if B wants to use them....:D

It might have been the bad driver mod...:p If I was to break my sisters ride she would have kicked my azz...:D Let us know how it does but I still think 8.50's...:p

How about Redline Raceway on Wednesday or Friday ? I have a 2002 LE SS with a lid,filter,BFG's and free mods.

As much as I would like to smack that Mustang down with my near stock LS1, I'm not driving back to Denton this Friday.I went there for first time last Friday.The track is great but it took me 1hour and 45 min to get there.Maybe you'll post your times so I can see how bad I would have beat you :D

BTW, Do you drive the silver Formula with black stripes ?

Shoot. I'm still trying to go but, Mustang boy saw some drops of rain this morning and didn't drive his car in :mad:

I'm supposed to get it this aftenoon, but now I have a problem of finding some rims and slicks.
