She went low 11's @ 136 in my car...

Hey Bryan. Would a 632 ci motor, nitrous, 1500 stall, tranny brake, 4.11 gears, and some 295/50-15's get me a 9 sec 1/4?

There is a big difference between stalling a car and it dying because it has a big cam and the idle is set too low, esp w/the ac on :rolleyes:

I just don't see how a heavier car just because it has an auto and similar power will run a second faster is all. If I am wrong, then so be it, no big deal. He asked what we thought, so I gave my opinion.
No, 8" slicks... I was driving.
An auto car won't hit the tires near as hard and won't spin nearly as hard in second. The power is a lot more useable and "tire friendly".
It will do it, I can see it doing it.

Ok I guess... I just thought an auto would smoke the tires more when the converter flashed. Can't control an auto very well when the converter is real loose and the car is trying to get going and the tires wont let it. That is how I figured it would go is all.

I've gone mid 10's on 275 60 15 dr's with an auto, theres a lot more to it than power.
