Hehehe. Equal parts completely forgetting to check the forums for a week or so (and also forgetting to post), and fighting with my gradually degrading phone lines.

Had them come out last week, and they fixed it for about 2 days, and now it's gone back to the way it was, and at times it seems even worse than it was before they came out the first time. For instance, right now I'm connected at 12.0Kbps ... last night was anywhere from 2.4 to 9.6Kbps.

It sucks. They're supposed to be back out again tomorrow ... hopefully will have it fixed for good. I also want to talk to the guy and see if there's anything that can be done to the line to bump me up into the mythical 56K realm. I've had about enough of the 28.8 capped lines out here :rolleyes:. Of course, if broadband was available (and less than $400 for the initial set up), I wouldn't be worrying about this... but ces la vie, eh?

Thank ya. They came out this morning, so hopefully I don't have to worry about it anymore. So far, so good though.
