I was floating the san marcos river this weekend, and I saw a guy who had a portable sound system, on a tube! BAD ASS!

He had an Ice Chest with a 12" sub mounted into it, and two 6x9's in their own boxes...

How in the hell would he power these?

How could I do the same setup? Would you have to use a car stereo receiver or could you use just a regular CD Player.

Here's what I have:
A blown JL Audio 10W3 (for testing it out)
2 stock dodge truck 6x9's
and a LA Sound 240 watt amp.

I am good ad wood working, and metal fab, so the box wont be a big deal..nor will it be in an icechest.

However, I am not sure how I could wire it up? Would I just use a car battery with a car stereo, and a remote switch?

Is there any way I can use a portable stereo and wire the speakers and amp into it?

I know this sounds crazy, but river floating is a big deal down here...lol

THanks!
Shawn

Use a DynaBatt. Small, and just as powerful as a full size battery.
