If you are tired of paying to race every week, then you might want to enter this contest. Denton Dragway is holding a contest to have one racer design the perfect race. We are always coming up with new programs, and we have decided to give you guys a chance to design and race your own program. Here's how it works:
For the next 2 weeks we will be accepting entries. After 2 weeks we will view all submissions. If more than 10 different programs are submitted, the best two will be picked by the Denton Dragway staff and then we will hold a vote to pick the winner. In the event that there are fewer than 10 submissions, no vote will be held and Denton Dragway will pick the winner.
Since this is subjective, here are the qualities that each submission will be judged on:
*It's ability to be run on a recurring basis each Thursday Night
*It's ability to bring new racers to the track
*It's ability to have racers return weekly
*The length of time that will be put in to run the race
*The amount of rules that must be enforced
Some hints you might want to think about if you plan on entering:
*The Domestic and Import Shootout has been successful
*We are 5 minutes from 2 large college campuses
*We cannot stay open passed 11:00 on Thursday
*All programs need to be directed towards street cars
If you would like to make a submission, you must submit it to Nick@dentondragway.com or you can type it out and bring it to the track. All submissions must be received by 9/06/02. Please include your full name and phone number with submission.
