I talked to SLP today and they said they've had 1000 cars register... :eek: I hope they're not all racing!

I am going, Amer is, Eric with the Formula, and my sister in her Firebird. I am trying to talk my parents into it as well. See you out there Chris.

So the shop car isn't going to be a one run wonder is it??? I will get to see a pass out of it I hope.

I'll be there in my convertible, probably running 13.50s still. Thats what it ran in Memphis at 97 degrees atleast:)

I'll be there early and plan to stay all day. I just hope to run high 12's in the heat. It's gonna be HOT!

I was there from 7:30AM to 6:30PM (got the sunburn to prove it), didn't see anyone from DFW Stangs there. Raced three LS1's and beat three LS1's. Was it anyone on here? Or maybe you don't want to admit you got taken down by a four door :D

I was there! Didn't see any 12 second Impalas though, that was about the only way I figured I'd know who ya were. I took off about 5pm or so when the wind really picked up and it looked like it was gonna pour. I was on my bike and didn't wanna get caught-up in that crap!

Couldn't break in the 12's in the heat, but was very close. I ran a 13.02 and a 13.03 early in the day. I didn't participate in the brackets, just made some time trial runs. I was the quickest Impy there. I was parked right by the SLP Info booth, my car was wearing slicks and skinnies. Also has 4DRSS plates :)

He was an older man in his 60's wearing a straw hat, nice 96 had telstars on the rear wit a 28 11.5 et street on it stock wheels on front.

Yeah I know the guy, he is in the local Impala club. I never saw him make a pass. Stock shortblock with nitorus right? I have raced him at Kenndale before. He beat me by .2 in the 1/8th. He must have pilled up more since then :)

Yep Louis, he's a great guy! Last week he went a 7.50 at Kennadale. Same combo we just keep fine tuning it.
