Alright it's that time again. Whose head are you going to chop? Who all is planning on being there? So if there broke get them fixed. If you want revenge on a lose, or to shut someones mouth, or just want to race this is the place to do it.

Hopefully i'll have my changes to the GT done for 9/15
and I can roll out for some practice on 9/6.

I can't get anyone to weld on the GT so i'm bringing

Mike, Fog did a damn good job on my cage. I'll post up some pics soon, but there is no doubt in my mind that it will certify. I wouldn't hesitate to have him weld on my car again in the future.

I have plenty of welding for you to do this fall :)
The GT needs torque boxes and the trans-am needs
a cage.

I'll be PMing you in a few weeks to get the torque
boxes rolling.

I'd like to see your cage. I heard you were very pleased
with the work.

I have very little time before the cruise and I started
to panic when I wasn't having any luck finding someone
that could weld the boxes. I switched streams and
started working on the T/A and then FOG answered
my welding PM I had out to him. Unfortunately by then
I had a $700 order into Jegs for the T/A and had
spent several hundred more at the local parts houses.

I'm going to have him weld up the torque boxes and
subframes in a few weeks and I want a cage put into
the T/A hopefully this winter.

I hope there are a few of the LS1 posters there. The only LS1 I saw running good at Denton this past Friday was Been Fetched Lately. The rest of them were running low-mid 9s or very high 8s. :rolleyes:

There were some pretty quick LS1 guys out last Friday. In the quick 8 on Friday there were 6 of them that were running high 7s and low 8s.

If we can get enough fast Stangs and enough fast LS1s out there on Thursdays and Fridays, we will start a Ford vs. GM shootout.

I know your GTG isn't until 9/6/02, but if you come out this Friday, you get the added bonus of Bud Morgan vs. CryBaby Harper best 2 out of 3 match race! You KNOW the track will be hookin! Midnight Madness too! :eek: :eek:

I'd be all about Ford vs. GM shootout. I think I may save my money this week and try to hit both nights at Denton this week. I like being able to watch racecars and streetcars on the same night.

I'm just glad my car won't be there. I don't think my stock drivetrain could handle it.
