2 stops. Had to get back to work. First run, I didn't even tach up (doh!). Second, I got the jump then banged the rev limiter from 1st to 2nd (doh! again). But I still got about 1 1/2 cars by the top of 3rd.

Well in my defense, I had already run my car 5 times and I didnt even launch. I honked three times and then hit it from 1000, he still beat me though!;) JC I told you how these aluminum blocks run when they are hot!:mad:

I did it (only happens at high RPMs under load) soon after we left Hooter's, and you should've been able to hear it while we were racing. But everything could've been drowned out by your car.

I was scared about running in a pack, due to my close call last week.

damn, i can't believe nick lost. that's sad.

my lowly 4.6 sohc is 1-0 vs. the howler at the track. once i get the new motor in over the next two weeks i plan to add more to my win column. ;)

How in the hell can a Cobra with a blower lose to a bolt on ls1?

OK OK, yes I have tuning issues, but I will beat lethal EVERY time we race again, I assure you of that. The one race I lost I had 3 cars behind me so I rushed the honks and didnt launch, I just started from about 1k. Even after running JC 4 times and my car was hot as hell, I put 2 cars on Lethal. Mike we can run soon if you want to.
