To Promise Keepers on August 16-17. They were sold out and a guy at work happened to have an extra one. I've been wanting to go to this for a while now.

Anyone else going/been before? What can I expect?

I've never gone, but I've heard a few of them on the radio, and they sound great.

Let us know if you like it when you get back. I'm sure it will be helpful and uplifting. :)

I've been to three. One in Boulder, Co. - the first one in a stadium I believe, with over 50,000 men. AWESOME! Heard Jack Hayford, Chuck Swindoll, Greg Laurie, EV Hill, Gary Smalley, Coach McCartney, and many more - all in two days!

And I've been to two here at Texas Stadium.

PK is great, depending on the speakers there - and if they've moved away from the commercialization of it. They were setting up tents all around the stadium selling shirts, hats, pens, you name it. Eventually turned me off to them.. Just my .02.

However, God did use them in a mighty way to change many men. Including myself.
