i am looking for good ideas for placement of subwoofers in a fox convertible. 90 model. It seems to me that in the trunk would kill the sound.???

The trunk won't kill the sound but the sound pressure can be lost because there is no roof. More power and more woofers will make it more audible. You could lose the back seat as well.

I'm in the same situation, but there just isn't any room in the damn trunk !! I don't know where the hell I will put the system. EW, where do you work again ?? And if I came up there could you help me out with figuring what box I will be able to use. Am I going to be able to stuff some 12's back there, or am I going to have to resort to some 10's ?? Let me know !! Thanks !! -Aaron

I could not find a box that would work well in my 97 convertible, so I just went with one of those bazooka boxes and it fits perfectly and sounds pretty good.

I am an insurance agent in plainview, real close to lubbock. If you were in the neighborhood, i would be glad to check your ride out. where are you from? I like the idea of a bazooka tube, i've never heard one before. I have kids so i cant ditch the back seat. I have 4- ten inch subs and 0ne 12 inch sub to use for sizing. I'm lost though

I'm in Plano...a ways from you. But yeah, I also need to retain the backseat, although I am thinking of putting a 4 point roll bar in. It's still going to have to be usable though. I just got the new MM&FF and the cover car is an '88 vert. that has a nice looking sub. enclosure. Don't much like the paint scheme though. It's the 8/26/02 issue. -Aaron
