Sonic is closed due to construction so by majority demand we are gonna meet at pappas pizza in addison. It is on Beltline inbetween Midway and Marsh.

they have cheap pizza and dollar pints.

Yah, I guess everybody that tried to organize a weekly event such as this for THEIR neck of the woods deserves to sit in an empty parking lot. Not everybody can drive that far. When the various people that tried to get some interest in alternative meeting places had their posts moved instead of stuck up top. I guess they weren't worthy.

I just had to do what I normally make fun of other people do for the hell of it. :) It is fun being stupid sometimes. Yeah my budy in the Z06 wanted a peice of the Ferrari but he knew just like every other Ferrari owner they would not want to race it. I have only met one guy that would race and that is Cormack. 1500 horsepower Turbo and Nitrous Testerosa. LOL.

Just so stung knows there has never been any favors done for the thur night gtg. I have always advertised it, and taken care of all the pr.

And we do have mayn people that drive from the south side, and ft worth every thur night, so i dont want to hear any complaints about it being to far.

I disagree! The ol' Starbucks threads enjoyed months of Main Forum exposure! they generated much interest each week. I feel like if someone wanted to get another GTG closer to them going they should be able to enjoy that same exposure. It doesn't happen. They get moved to the GTG forum where they DIE! It's not right for them to try to promote this site only to be treated this way.

Ummmmmmm...What did we learn in class the other day? Contact CHRIS...CHRIS...CHRIS...if you have any complaints. I'm not going to deny that the Sonic GTG generated a LOT of togetherness on DFWStangs back when the club was just beginning to boom outside of the board. Yup...but as usual you leave out the FACTS in your cries.

If I remember correctly there wasn't a Weekly Gatherings forum back then either. :rolleyes: When it was created and the mods saw a Sonic/Buck's post it got moved in here immediately. I DID IT MYSELF A LOT. If it stayed it's because it got overlooked. Maybe you should've started a new thread as usual to cry.

Also as a RULE any gtg's that change (not created) in the course of ONE DAY get to stay on the Back Porch. Now that we have a Weekly Gatherings forum feel free to set up a gtg anywhere (altho don't blame an active forum for your gtg's demise...people do visit here). That's what it's for...even Sonic's. But if the location suddenly gets shut down you would receive the same fucking courtesy and receive a sticky on the Back Porch. Even if no one likes you personally. :rolleyes:

You told people only a month or so ago to leave if they didn't like the way you ran the site. I never enforced anything but keeping street racing off of the site.

As far as breaking jose's confidence, you said it yourself jose wants to be liked by everybody that's why he may not take a stance even though he gets the brunt of the complaints because chris isn't always around. Tattling IS gay. However serious concerns, complaints, etc. are a MUST in a group this size. But why didn't you come to ME?? I've asked this before without an answer. Yes, I'm a firm believer that if you don't like the rules that are set forth by the owners of a site then you can leave. You have every right to. Nicolle has said to PM me not because I will take her side, but because I asked her to forward any complaints and problems to me to be handled that are beyond normal board stuff. You are right that I don't go out to many events, but I am always on the board and here to take care of business and keep things running smoothy.

I will do what I can to help promote your South Side GTG's. But, I won't leave it on the Back Porch. If we can get people used to going to Weekly Gatherings to see whats going on, there won't be any of these problems. Any and all last minute changes, no matter who organizes an event or where, can put a post on the Back Porch about it. But thats the only case.
