i need to get a 4 channel amp for my mids and highs.. was looking at:

http://www.audiobahninc.com/products/detail.asp?productsID=65

just cause i have other audiobahn stuff and so far ive liked it.. anyways.. i found that amp (A4401Q
4X50@4 OHM STEREO, 140X2@4 OHM MONO) for: $245.71
just wondering if anyone else can find it for cheaper?

and mr EW, if i brought an amp down to ya or bought one through ya.. and wanted to get it installed/hooked up and some minor dyno matting any idea on a price i would spend?

plus btw good job on my buds car.. blacksn95.. the car alarm stuff is just too much annoying fun to play with ;) i bet his neighboors wanna kill him by now. congrats. hehe

Don't buy that flea market amp. Come in the store and identify yourself and I'll give you a good deal on a real amp or I have an Alpine in the for sale forum that would work well for you.

As far as install goes, every situation is different. Dynamat is easy to install and you may want to do it yourself.

Estimate:
4 ch amp labor $70-100
8ga amp kit w/2 rca's $45
adapters etc if needed will vary
Dynamat 4 sq ft $15+, labor $45/hr.

EW roughly how many sq ft did you use when you did your car? Roughly how many hours do you think?

If I was going to do it again (and I might do another layer of Extreme soon-Magnapacks are loud), I would use 108 sq ft of Dynamat Extreme. The largest boxes they sell are 36 sq ft. The roller is either $6 or $12 depending upon which one you want.

Cool What do the 36 sq ft boxes run in price?

Thanks
