Hey Eric, I know your the man to talk to about raido's.

Here is the thing, I want a sub in the trunk of my 98GT, but I don't want it to take up the whole trunk. Have you seen Chris98GT setup? I'm not for sure if you have but he has a JL audio 10, that look good in the trunk and doesn't take up much room. Also I want it to hit pretty good.

Would one of those JL audio that you are selling work good for me, hit hard and not need alot of room?

Right now i have the stock mach460 sound in it. I have a Sony explode cd player (the black face one) that I plan on getting installed.

Chris might have the stealthbox. Those work very well. We also have a single JL 10" enclosure that does not take up much space for about $169.

The woofers for sale above are all 12" and they will take up alot of room.
Chris keeps talking about selling his car. See if he'll sell you his enclosure.

So the one for $169 does that hit pretty good? I have never owned any JL audio stuff, only pioneer, Lanzar, and have you heard of Toby's (speakers).

Also how big of an amp would take to run the JL 10's and sound good?

Chris does have a Stealthbox in his car. Very nice setup but look at spending some major $$$ for it. If you are serious about getting one and don't mind spending the money, my buddy Sean Park had one for sale earlier in the year or last year, you might try looking it up by his Screen Name. If not, what EW is offering should be the ticket.

That enclosure uses the W0 woofer which is rated for 125W rms. I run 350W rms on that same enclosure in my g/f V6. They make many different woofers/boxes from 125W-2000W power handling. Its all a matter of how much volume you want and how much cash you have.

Kenwood KFC-XR60P[/url] 6 1/2", tweeter, passive x over, Kenwood's best components 2001 $99/set.

Just wondering how these speakers would sound in a 88 GT, i have a sony ca400, also have a rockford fosgate amp x160.2.

And how much would it cost to install????

I think they would sound great plus, they are a very shallow magnet design so they will fit in the door location without any problems.

your MTX2300+JL (2)12w4's trade for:

my (1)10w6 that is mint and has been used for 30min. you can tell by looking at the sub it looks brand new, and $200 cash.

this would give me an amp and some bass to listen to. what ya think??/?

Yep. I've got more though and the Kenwood I just posted is a mean mofo. 3 fans, motorized cover, tons of adjustment, servo control, etc.

Do you have any pictures of the setup you are talking about with 1 10in sub? I am considering doing that but dont want to spend the money for the stealth box.

My buddy Sean Park has a Stealth Box for a SN95 Hardtop for sale for like $300. Excellent price and it's in very good condition (he takes very good care of all of his stuff and I've bought a lot of things from him over the years).

I wish I could say that I have a garage full of JL Stealthboxes to sell for $20 each, but unfortunately I don't! Thanks for the reference, but mine has been gone for a while now. For those interested/intrigued/curious, it's a nice sub and for my use it was protected from execution by a mountain bike in the trunk! A few more coins, but it doesn't float around, looks like it belongs, and sounds good. Step across the line and buy one if you want a good sub that doesn't take up half of your trunk and manages to survive for a long time without being destroyed.

Yup! After hearing Sean's setup in his Cobra, with the JL Audio Stealthbox, I had to get one. Wasn't dissappointed at all and I even got one for the SuperCrew :D

Post up any subs you got for cheap(new/used) I have a JBL BP300.1 I would like to install in my 96 Neon beater but need subs and a line level convertor to piggy back the rear speakers with.
