450 watt dhd amp, 12" orion subwoofer in a custom made box (its neat) and all the wiring for $100. What do you think? By the way, its not stolen! Actually I already bought it from a friend so I was just wondering...now i just have to figure out where to get it installed

yeah i do have to pay somebody to install it....i dont know shit about it so i'd rather pay to have it done right. i have a sony cd player, one of those with the flip down face....thats all i know! oh and i have some kicker speakers and two of the factory tweeters. I looked at the wires i got and i just said "so i wont be doing that part!"

Dude cut him some slack or at least offer him some advice on what to do. Go see EW (Eric) over at Autosound in Bedford. He'll hook you up:)

hooking up a stereo is the easiest, i work at a stereo shop doing that
power wire- straight to the battery make sure it is fused
ground wire- on the chassis, make sure paint is scraped away
remote wire-to the rear of the deck
rca wires-from deck into amp
sub wires-this is the only tricky one, depending on the handling of the amp it a matter of either bridging the wires on the amp or running them in stereo (aka left sub play left sounds, and right sub play right sounds)

I'm pretty competent to do some basic stuff but I'm not clean on doing the wiring or creative when it comes to laying stuff out like for an amp board to mount everything :( I've used Autosound Bedford and I highly recommend EW and the guys there.
