Good kill . You can never tell with those things either. They all look the same and you don't know if anything is done to it till they get on it, by then its too late.

If you are interested,I have a well modded 86.I wouldnt mind a little race some time.I live in Irving.I also got my ass handed to me friday night by a stang. But it was packing a 350 chevy.I would have took him out, except when I spun and throttled it I burped my turbo and exploded the turbine wheel into the downpipe.I have the stock turbo on it now.At kennedale on Dunlop radials it ran 8.30s with a 2.14 60' spinning tires. That was also without building boost at the line and leaving from a dead idle. Can you say "turbo lag".LOL.I would get out like 15' and the tires would just blow off.

The old school black mesh wheels were standard w/ the GNX.

There's a GN that fit's that description near my work. I'll drive by tomorrow and see if it has pod mount gauges.

I dunno, I just never saw the appeal in the Buick GN at all even though they are probably the best "sleeper" car you can find. It just looks too "ghetto" or "white-trash" to even be fast or respectable. Not to bash on anyone's car, but thats just how I saw them. I know they can be EXTREMELY FAST when modded correctly.

Most GNX's aren't driven much at all. There are a LOT of GN owners who put Trans AM GTA wheels(16 X 8) on their cars though.

if they are modded watch out. They are awesome cars with a lot of potential. I would like one!

no doubt, I remember as a teenager seeing one at the street races, thinkin, "who is this fool in a regal, he is gonaa get smoked" yeah right, I have seen some really fast gn's, they are pretty cool cars and gnx's are real badass, they usually do have sleeper looks so watch out

Mine has had almost everything done to it that can be done.It can run in the mid 7s in the 1/8 with slicks on low boost and pump gas.The trick to these cars is to get them to hook up.My mistake was putting the Dunlops back on instead of just buying another set of ET streets.I could get smoked by a honda from a dead stop because all it will do is sit there and spin.My blown turbo is at Majestic right now,I hope they can rebuild it.I understand the white trash remark because I always thought that way of the Monte SS and they look almost the same.My car isnt pretty and restored, its a street racer special. It has hidden tricks all over it.Only a real street racer like some old schoolers would notice.I bought it because it is the antithesis of the 5.0,the arch enemy you might say.I always liked my mustangs.I just wanted to try something different and I had no respect for anyother car like the GN.

I want a ls1,(Rodney)
Maybe the same guy not sure. I would hope being 400lbs lighter your 346, 10.5cr can take my little 4.6. But don't worry my new motor in my lx will walk allll over your ls1. :p

Six,
That would be cool let's set something up.

It was not a gnx though.
