Wasn't down the 1/4 mile, but down the front straight at Texas Motor Speedway, I've been 140-145MPH, only to take a dip into turn one at 110MPH+, riding passenger in my brother-in-law's bad ass 1995 trick out M3.

I've had the Cobra up over 130MPH down the straight and dropped it into turn one 100MPH+ on the same track.

Ain't nuttin' like committing to a turn at 100+MPH.

The other favorite turn for me (I make it almost daily) is the exit off 190 to 78/Garland. Take that sucker 80MPH. Makes my whole day.

man .. when the car finally started running good.. it started leaving the line stronger and stronger.. especially after the Wolfe Sway bar was installed.. then one night out of no where.. it did a huge ass wheelie.......... like on the bumper... scared the shit out of me, but at the same time it was like sweeeeeeeettttt.... it 60 ft'd 1.42 on the back tires.. :eek:

130 at the end of the straight on the TWS 1.8 mile course in my Vette. That meant about 110 in the transition off the bank, which was pretty exciting the first few times. Early apexed turn 7 once flat out and ended up with 2 wheels in the dirt at around 120 on the exit.

Went about 165 in an IRL car at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (driving classes, complimentary of World Karting Association, given to the top three national winners). They were governed...sucked!

I also went about 135 at Texas World Speedway, in a go kart though. It feels like about 450 mph in a kart .5 inches off the ground!! it was an 'enduro' kart that you practically lay down in, powered by a 125 honda shifter

You are correct turbostang...not a Mustang. 1998 Acura NSX was the weapon of choice. Felt good at 170. Went along for 4 or 5 miles at that seed came to some curves and had to slow way down to 130... 130 feels like a crawl (even in a lazy corner) in that car after a high speed blast!


I do miss her...but the Cobra is a blast as well!

70mph once when driving through Oklahoma :) Actually whatever 5500 rpm is in OD with 3.73 gears, somewhere around 170mph. On a drag strip 129 mph and about 120mph cruising around TMS. Fastest on a bike was 105mph, plenty fast.

The overall fastest I've been while driveng was 142, and at the same time being passed by CMarsh93z doing 160+ on 287 heading to The Motorplex.

The fastest I have been while riding was Mach 1.2 (approx. 800+ mph depending on altitude) and pulled 8.7 G's in the back seat of an F-16, sorry guys but there is not a more awesome ride than 57 min. ride in an F-16. :D

On the ground though was 187 in a Viper GT-S on I-15 between Vegas and Cali.

Fastest i have gone? About a hair under 160, as the speedo was pegged well past 160 (on the stock 3.23`s) and i lost track of RPM`s in 5th as i was approaching a "gentle" bend. Trust me, there is nothing gentle about any bend at 160 plus with 3 screaming GM fans yelling for me to quit it!

And took a maxima to 135

I took my 66 Mustang Convert to 120 (pegged) Scary shit in that car, anything over 80mph and the whole front end was floating...

Unfortunately my current car will only do 85 mph. :(

Although at the track its had trap speeds in the upper 130s. The track's photogates must be off, cause the speedometer said 85.

On a different note, even though the excursion has a limiter at 93?mph, I was clocked at 105 about a week ago. I didn't even give the trooper a chance to hit his lights and siren. I didn't wanna go to jail :(

The 12 will bury the speedo, which if I remember stops at 220mph. There have been several bolt-on Zx12's reach 198-205 mph. I for sure know ARH's bike goes 200, cause it used to be mine, and it went 200 when I had it :) And it only dynoed 174rwhp when I had it....180+ with the new pipe and mods Nick did...so you do the math!
