Man, I am on my second R1 and I would never even consider owning another bike except maybe a GSXR1000. Even then, it would be a hard choice because I am literally in love with my 2002 R1 and the black and grey color scheme. If you are serious about one and are really interested, you might take a look at this guy's auction on eBay. He has R1's and R6's and selling them at invoice. NO SHIT!!!!

what do they usualy go for if you were to buy from a dealer?
what kind of prices does this dude have on R6's (wimpy, but good for me to learn)?

R6's, just look at that seller's other auctions and he has them listed also.
