isn't the TA vs 03 video about normal though? won't a LS1 with a shot take a mod motor with a blower? I guess at least a blower at the boost numbers the 03 is at.

ls1 pulled on the top...what else is new :D Least it took n20 to get an ls1 to beat a 4.6 and not the other way around like usual.
That blower is LOUD in that video.

it doesnt matter the 03 cobra is still around will the f-body will no longer be on the streets I wonder wy they just cant keep up any more...:D

Sounded like the driver of the Cobra needs to learn how to shift a little faster.
Please tell me that the owner of 03 can't drive or is still getting used to the car. It didnt look that fast to me. Is the top speed limiter that Ford put on these cars gonna inhibit them in anyway 1/4 mile wise? Another thing I thought of, the traction control thing . The computer pulls back timing or even cuts out a cylinder to cut back on power to regain traction...are there alot of BOOMS in the future for 03 owners? I could be wrong, still learning =)

thats why you turn off the traction control. im a mustang fan but if i had the money right now it would be a big toss up between an LS1 and a mustang. call me crazy, but sometimes you just have to wake up and smell the coffee and the beans are fresher on the darkside.
LS1+heads+cam+125shot= :D
oh, and im 19 and the only cars ive ever owned have been an 89coupe, 96cobra, and currently a sleeper 89GT.

With respect I say...How would you know what fast is? You don't even know how fast a car should run in the 1/4. Did you expect smoke to be rolling off of the tires as it passed?:rolleyes:

I'm not really sure how to respond to your comment. Its kind of a unsulting question you asked but I will answer it. How would I know? Well , just like everyone else on the board I have been around awhile and have had a few stangs myself. Just because I admit not knowing much about the new cars doesn't mean I don't know anything. I said it didn't look fast in my opinion, doesn't mean its a fact, was just that...my opinion. Unlike some people I will admit ignorance when I don't know about something and then ask from someone who does know so I can learn. No offense intended at all, just answering your question.

Sorry you felt insulted! you cant take anything writen on this board too seriously. But go to the web page and look at the Sprayd T/A vs. 03 Cobra. if you think they still look slow even after they come off the ground then i dont know what to say! Other than look at Hatchback vs Hatchback. THATS SLOW!!!:)
