First of all, to take the engine out, I had to leave the TC(Vig3200) connected to the flywheel. Could I have damaged the front pump?
Second, I now have a noise coming fron the tranny area that can only be heard from in the car. It's a hollow-rubbing-airy type noise. It doesn't rise and fall with rpms, it's just there at cruising speed.
Third, I'm dynoing 283!!!! It's gotta be a bad powertrain sucking up all my power!!
Fourth, did the seized engine damage the front pump or the TC? Could either of those suck up power?
Fifth, Can I check the pump pressure by using an oil pressure gauge? I heard there's a place by the shift mechanism on the tranny to check the psi. 70lbs at idle and little over 100 at RPMs.
Especially with headers and a big cam! HAHAHA ;)
