Poly Fill?

Has anyone ever used poly fill, the stuff you put into sub-boxes to make them "think" they are bigger, by slowing down the air?

If you have what was your experience with it?

We stuff all of our sub boxes with poly fill. All JL Audio premade boxes are also filled by JL. It is supposed to smooth out the sound.
