I remember when I had my Probe GT. It was a N/A V-6 and I used to pull stock or near stock 5.0s on the highway.

Now I have another N/A V-6 that does the same thing.

I call out owners in the Back Porch to come race and nobody replies, I wouldn't wanna get my butt handed to me by a N/A V6 4dr either!

I can't believe Ford has an assembly line for the 2V GT

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have been trying to set up a monthly GTG at a track. But, I guess they are to afraid of people seeing how slow they are. All they have to do is put NT (no time) on their windows and people won't now there true slowness. Very few guys on this board like to race. They are more show car buffs.

Hmmm, I'm willing to race. What does your car run? 1/8th or 1/4? Street or strip? I have no problem putting my Mustang up for battle. I won't even use nitrous.;)

:D I said very few are willing to race!!;) But I will try those odds, with you off the bottle. I just have to get my bucket on the road. Not sure what it runs yet.

Also, i heard you live in Hi-Point Moonsoon.... from.... eh.... the guy with the drag nova. don't remember his name.. Maybe sometime we'll run up and down 1382 a couple times ;)

Just remember--I run 5's in the 1/8 straight motor. Just an FYI--but it's all good as long as I'm racing.

I'm hoping to be there on the juice. Maybe I will make it interesting. For all I know my car could get out there and run mid 6's.lol I will run you bottle to bottle on the street.:D ;) I'm sure we will hook up great.lol

You might be surprised. I have a picture from the "other" Dallas dragstrip---Centennial Liquor/Northwest Highway with the front tires about 2 inches off the ground. Not exactly the wheelie bar ride at the strip--but it sure shocked the crap out of the dude on the bike. Silly little boy thought a GSX-R 750 was enough bike to do anything. I didn't even use the bottle after about 100 feet. Hell, I asked him if he broke. Should have seen him fume. I offered to make it fast for him--he didn't see the humor.

That sounds good to me. BTW I got MY car up and running now. The wife's G35 can go back into her hands. You won't mind if I bring my TA will you? IT'S STOCK AND SLOW!

Was that with this motor you have now though? The last motor you had was kissing 5's on the bottle right? This one does it on motor.lol If you can hook up on the bottle on the street I don't want any part of that!!:eek: lol I will be lucky to hook on motor on the street unless I'm on a slick. DR's would be pushing it.lol

That was with the old "junk" motor. I finally got that one down to 5.70's in the 1/8th then I stepped up a little. Now I run my old times straight motor. I have a pretty serious top end on the motor now. I bumped compression to 14.5 to 1, titanium everything, etc. The magic 1000hp mark is no longer a target anymore. I'm now working for 1500hp when set on kill. I would be hard pressed to hook it on the street these days (even without juice) but I'm thinking I could make up for the tire spin pretty easily.:)
