Anyone used the Valentine 1 radar detector?

I think everyone will agree, yes they are worth it. But get one used off EBAY IMHO ;)

If you get one used, make sure it is complete( hardwire cord, coily cord, cig plug, suction mount, visor clip). Also, ask what version the unit is (1.6, 1.7, 1.8 etc.) I think 1.8 is the newest version.

The link above will allow you to input the unit's serial# and it will tell you what version it is and what improvements the current units have.
I would buy a new one.

I've seen lots and lots of Polica in the last 2 weeks and am getting a bit paranoid. They had a HUGE sting out here in Arlington on 360 about a week ago.

Another vote for the Valentine V1. If you can't afford it just save up longer to get one.
