Where/How to polish rims

i ruint my polished aluminum rims, and need to repolish them. Is there anyway to do it w/ out stripping the clearcoat? If not, where can I get it done and how much will it cost?

It has been forever and a year since I have polished some aluminum wheels because I usually sell the vehicle I have them on before they need to be polished but the last time I polished them, I used some stuff called "Mother's Gold". That stuff worked wonders on the dog piss stains and the oxidation that alot of harsh cleaners and degreasers do to Aluminum wheels. If I remember correctly, you should be able to get some of that stuff at Walmart, Autozone, Oreiley's, ect. ect.

I had some centerline polished alum. wheels and I used some cleaner stuff that made them hazy like you are descriging, I used some Megiaurs Mirror Glaze #23(something like that)and it worked miracles, made them soooooooo shiny:cool: and got rid of the haze and spots

Because that is eaxactly what I did, I used the wrong typ e of cleaner on mine.

no dremel, just put it on and take it off by hand, I was amazed, I though I had fucked my rims up bad
