Ok, I've tried using everything I can think of on the cars to remove tree sap. It I had a bigger chainsaw I'd cut the trees down. Any ideas/suggestions? I'm not happy with my Lightning and freshly painted racecar being crapped on by trees.

i'll cut the tree down for a cheep price:D but as for the sap...dunno never found anything to take it off my paint. i used to use wd40 to get tar and stuff of my car, it never did anything to the paint but i was always sure to get it off asap. you may try it and see.

Have you tried using a clay bar? A friend of mine had so much sap on his car that it probably was protecting the paint. Clay bar worked wonders on it. PITA, but did the trick!

Thanks for the ideas. I had totally forgotten about WD-40. I have never used the clay bar--I will be using it I think. The sap is just making me sick. I will also consider drilling holes in the trees and filling them with used motor oil. Maybe that will slow them down or kill them. The evil bastards!!

there's a herbacide called spike. it'll kill anything. put that around the tree right before a rain and it'll kill all the plants....hehehehe that'll teach the bastards to ruin the finish on a nice car....

buy some and enjoy the plant carnage:mad: :D :D
