Have an unkown, quasi-anonymous / quasi-official "U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality)" publish recommendations for a reduction in routine breast cancer examinations.

What I'm reading into this, is that this will lower healthcare costs related to the diagnosis of breast cancer. It will also lower treatment costs, since cancer will be found in later, more aggressive stages - resulting in more unavoidable deaths.

Maybe this is my tinfoil hat speaking, but I have red alarms going off over here...

Same here. Odd how the main stream health care organizations have been adamant about being tested early for over 30 years, and now suddenly, it isn't anything to worry about.

Just a few months ago, they released the same sort of bullshit about prostate cancer, too. They're just greasing us up for shitty preventative care. None of those "proposed" plans will cover any of this preventative stuff, so just get ready.

This is a bunch of bull-shit I think they are smoking obamas bong up there. Tell this shit to the women that found cancer at 35 or 38 and the only reason they are alive is because of early detection.

Yea I was thinking the same thing, notice its a "government group" who is recomending this? Just setting the stage for crappy gov run health care.

Robin Roberts was sounding and looking quite puzzled over this on GMA this morning. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in an early stage. She almost sounded pissed off, too, then changed her tone. It was almost as if she was told something while the camera was on the guy sweating from her questioning.

It is odd to be told something completely different after so many years of being told to get in for regular checkups.

I heard about it in passing on the news as I was flipping through channels. I think I'll stick with what the American Cancer Society has to say about it, I think they're a bit more trustworthy than the government.

Yep, I'm telling you these people think we are stupid, and they are flagrant with the way they crow about it right in front of us.

Lower cost or kill off more of the consuming non-producers?

its called population decrease, they're giving you the cancer and if they don't detect it until it's too late then "x" amount of people die, and what's left over "y" is the number of people they want on the earth.

Egg-Fucing-Zactly!

Those with brains are still going to get checked out, those without can fucking die off...

And this is all without a doubt designed to lower expectations. Though in ten or so more years who's gonna know the difference...
