I hope I'm not overstepping the advertising rules, but just wanted to extend something to others who are in a position to do it.

I saw a commercial this morning for H&W Honda in Palestine for CBR1000 RR's going for $6399.

I'd love to get one, but now is not the time. Hope I can help someone else get a deal.

That's a smoking price if it's true. Too bad those are some of the fugliest bikes I have ever seen. Why is Honda still using three spoke wheels? And whomever designed that exhaust should be shot in public.

Yeah, it's a real price.

I'm not a fan of the exhaust either, but the rest of the lines are exactly what I like to see. I can picture that bike looking a helluva lot better without the license plate bracket, and different exhaust that also removes that plastic by the muffler.

Sweet! I did the MSF course and got my license about a month ago, bought the gear, now I am itching to buy the bike :D

Really? Wonder what the price OTD is. There is one in Oklahoma selling them for $7000 out the door. I want this bike bad, but I just got my Suzuki :(

Makes me want to get one just bc.... I like the red/black. First thing I would have to do is remove those ugly ass badges and clean it up a bit.

The badges on the tank are recessed into the plastic. If you take them off, there is a big circular hole in it.

Thanks for posting this. I have been looking at these deals on the 08 CBR1000.

I think this bike is beautiful.

This bike OWNED the TT.
