What's best for swirls?

Guess I'll get this board going. =)

I need to get something to fill in the swirls in the paint. Is there a particular product I should get, and where to get it?

Haven't used it but Zaino Z-5 is supposed to be meant for swirl marks. I like their other products and the ones I have used have done what they are supposed to!

fuck zano, use Maguires scratch, and swirl remover, great stuff, ask 92greenmonster what it did to help his scratches.

I don't ever recommend Zaino. The long term effects of the product aren't worth the short term gleam. I do agree with the Meguires posts above.

Either that or try the 3M line for scratch removal. You can find it at most paint stores (Sherwin Williams, etc.). You could always bring it over and I'll get them out for a few bucks. ;) Oh wait...that would mean I'd have to touch a GM...eeek! Ummm...nevermind :p

Please elaborate on the whole Zaino issue with long-term effects. I'm considering getting some for the Lightning and Sassy's new Mustang. What do you think about it?

I won't go into the subject too much, this is someone's business we're talking about here, and I didn't hire a scientist to perform tests, etc. I have, however been around the paint scene for years and I have seen what the results have been from too many coats of anything on a factory paint job...much less a custom one.

People can tell me until they're blue in the face about how many coats of Zaino they have...I've never noticed...never once seen the "greatness" claimed. They can tell me about how the wheel gleam stays on for a week...two days tops, etc. I bought a starter kit and (after losing $60) I threw it away after the first use. All companies claim to do this and that, you have to chose for yourself what you like....just like anything else. Like Zaino...use it. That's awesome!

BUT, when someone smacks a fender and you take it in to be repainted...think about all those "layers" that have to be removed first. They claim that it can be removed with simple rubbing alcohol...ummm...no thanks...but to each his own. :)

Again, I'm not going to debate this. This is my personal opinion, my own research and my own decision never to use the product.

I like MeQuires too...I used it and it works great.....except for the hood and front bumper..paint job has 97000 miles and is 9 years old.
