i talked to doc just now and he said that you met him at the gtg, but told him that you didn't want to buy the intake now because you thought that it was ported. i never told you it was ported...:confused: why did you set up the meet with doc, and waste his time, if you didn't plan on buying the intake? also, when did you plan on telling me that you didn't want to buy the intake? i am buying a set of headers from Typhan, and i told him to drop the headers off and doc will give him the money (thinking that you were going to buy the intake, and doc would have the money, so i wouldn't have to drive up there again), but i had to stop typhan before he went to doc's and let him know that i still haven't given doc the money, and that i would have to try to make it there today or tomorrow. so not only have you wasted doc's time, but you have also inconvenienced myself and typhan in the process.

the intake was 399.00 new, and i would be happy to stick to pm's, if you would as well. where was my pm telling me that you weren't interested? also, if you didn't like the price, why didn't you mention it when you told me that you would buy it? :confused:

to everyone, i'm sorry for posting this, if it makes you mad. it just pisses me off that someone has so little respect for anyone else, that they would do something like this. i am a very easy going guy, and i wouldn't have a problem if someone tells me that they aren't interested, makes a counter offer, etc. i just think that it is very selfish to waste a bunch of people's time just because you want to play a game with someone.

I am sorry that YOUR intake was as in great of shape as you stated to me and not as good a deal as was thought originally. We didnt waste doc's time since he was coming out the GTG anyway and if I did then I'll apologize to him. Sounds to me like your just mad because your not going to get your headers.

you apparently need to read the post again. do you have a learning disorder or something?:confused:

typhan was going to pick up the money today from doc (the money that you were supposed to be paying for the intake). he brought the headers with him, so that he could drop them off, now i have to go to doc's and give him the money, and typhan will have to come another day, when he had already made plans to be there.

I left the GTG early because there was to much cursing going on ( which I should have realized before hand, just never gave it much thought ) and it was getting late and my daughter needed to goto sleep. When I had left, justin showed up and was looking at the intake, I thought he was going to buy it and could've sworn he was going to try and give you a call to haggle with the price. he was complaining about it as it was used and it showed and for the fact that $350 was a bad price since you can get them new for $365 which is why he wanted to call and talk with you. Sorry for the confusion, but you could've have stuck it to private messages. One time I went to go pick up parts out in lewsiville, I got in a wreck and had to stay and wait for 2 hours while the cops showed up. I never got the chance to find this one guy that drove out to sell me some rims and tires, but did he come on the board posting and complaing that he waited for 45 minutes? No, instead I am going to and pay him extra for it since I wasted his time even though I got in a wreck. I've bought parts from lots of people on this board and have always gone through and said if I wasnt, I have also sold a lot of parts and have always backed it up if they didnt like what I sold them. Perhaps you should look at the big picture instead of the $350 your trying to get out of a used intake thats $15 more new. Like I said, I'll apologize to Doc and linda on the phone and in person.

This happend last night, I havent talked to Justin today, but as soon as he would have told me that he didnt want it I would have msg stanggt40 and told him why. are you saying that the intake is in bad shape? that thing looks brand new... it was only bolted on a car for a few miles (not a few thousand miles) a few miles. i will be happy to get some pics of it, and post them on the board to have everyone see just to be sure, or have doc get on here and back me up on this. trying to convey that the intake is in bad shape is just idiotic. also, i still don't understand why you didn't say anything about the price when you pm'ed me.:confused: wouldn't that be the appropriate time?:confused: if you didn't like the price, all you had to do was tell me, i would have either come down or told you to go buy a new one. i wouldn't have had a problem with coming down, i'm not in a bind money wise or anything, and i would have been happy just to let the intake go to someone that needed it, instead of having it collect dust in my garage.
