How was it? Doesn't look too muddy either. I thought it would have been a lot worse.

i think we rode about 80% of the big loop. when we got to the creek crossing it got a little hairy because the water was moving pretty fast and we could not see the bottom. but the quads made it fine, my buddy on the bike was nervous though. rocky does not really describe the place well. we had no problem with them, but i could see how it could catch a person off guard. we did find a couple of short cuts back the camping area so the loop did not have to be so long, but we were still out there for a good bit.

when we got unloaded, and ready, my buddy started his bike up and it was leaking water from the water pump weep hole. we thought oh shit. so my and the other guy rode the first part of the small loop, and he took the the water pump apart to find out what was wrong. we got back, 20 minute ride, and he had the seal out and was dry and hard. he found the part in Ardmore and went to get, so we rode the first part of the big loop, about five miles. we got back about five minutes before he did. we put the seal in and off we went.

al in all, it was a good day, and not too muddy, well not near as bad as we thought it would be, and Zero dust kicked up. like i said it is rocky, but i think Buick355 will like it, lots of technical stuff, and then it gets down in the valleys and some zig zags (not that kind) through the trees. its fun for sure, just think of twin hills but alot bigger.

ok, time to go eat lunch,

I actually prefer riding in the rocks vs. sand (no clue why).

You still heading back up there?
