Guess no one around here even cares that the U.S national squad once again has made it to a cup final. They will take on Mexico for the Gold Cup. Its gonna be a bad ass fucking game. I'm rooting for Mexico but the U.S will fight hard to get rid of that lingering taste of defeat against Brazil.

I'm sure it will be on Espn 2 or something but Ch.23 will have it. Tomorrow @ 2 PM CT.

man mexico kicked the shit out of us. everytime mexico would score all the cooks at hooters were screaming at shit. funny stuff!!

The first half was very competitive, and I expected the same in the second. I thought someone was gonna make a mistake and it would end 1-0 or something, but the U.S just played like shit after the penalty kick.

Its gonna be a different story on Aug 12 when they play again in Mex with
their real squad.

At least the Mexican team got some of their confidence back with the forwards. They just need to step up their defense now, because its been crappy and US will not forgive like this younger team did.

They will be playing in the Azteca, so the odds are in Mexico's favor. I think Mexico has found good forwards that they've been lacking for so long. Gio and Vela are just getting better and better. Gio and Vela are like what 21?

They both are 20yrs old. Didn't gio get signed by fc barcelona at a young age.

Gio was signed by barca at 17. Vela is a striker for Arsenal. Gio has some serious skills!

They're getting better and im glad someone finally stepped up but its gonna be a different story with Onyewu, Bocanegra and their normal crew back there.

They also need an organized defense badly. I read Marquez will be there but he says hes not 100% recovered from injury so he can only play 45 min.
But should they waste a replacement on him when they might need it for a midfielder?

They also need to bring back Guardado and even Cuau, yea he's slow but he got the touch :banana:
