Promotional copy. Decent quality but it says "You're listening to a Vagrant Records promotional stream" once during each track.

I didn't download it because I obey the law. Just letting you know it's out there. :147:

EDIT: I only know about the interruption during the songs because somebody told me about it...

Supposedly because of the leak, the album is being pushed up -- August 11th iTunes release with probably a September physical release. I'll wait to hear it. I've heard it's supposed to be quite a bit more agressive, which is something I've been wanting since Veihissu. That album was a complete disappointment to me. The Alchemy Index albums were good, but I am ready for some heavy shit ala Illusion of Safety or Identity Crisis!

It's not. It's a fairly mellow album, but it's a consitent album and doesn't have all the experimental crap. It's a good sound for them.

Meh, I haven't really liked anything from them since artist in the ambulance, and a little bit of Vheissu, it's like they tried to mix dustin's solo stuff with thrice.

I haven't heard anything from the album yet. But Thrice is one of my fav bands. Although their latest stuff isn't all that great compared to Identity Crisis and Illusion of Safety. But i'll still buy it and listen to it.

I saw Thrice with Darkest Hour in Ft. Worth a couple years ago and it was great. Phoenix Ignition is still the greatest song.

I was at that show. Good stuff.

I like the intro riff to phoenix ignition, but I'd have to say "The Abolition of Man" is my favorite song by them. I personally thing they reached their peak with "The Artist in the Ambulance" but when compared to popular music now, everything they do is still far better. The alchemy index was hit and miss. If they would've taken 3 songs from each "element" and just made one album, it would've been a lot better.

I will [b]sort of[/] agree with that. I liked how they divided all of the different sounds, but on one album, it would have been a wish-wash of shit. I liked the whole seperate album concept they came out with that. There are songs I like and songs I don't care for too much, but so is the same with almost every album.

Just got done listening to the whole album w/o the watermark and it is pretty good. I'll be buying it when it comes out.
