Last time I played in the DFWstangs league there were 20 teams and I think my first overall pick was Jon Kitna, not a good year.

The year Grossman broke his leg...yeah the draft was the next night.

I fell asleep and woke up as the 1st or 2nd round was ending and I had selected Grossman with the pic 30 seconds before I logged in....fucking fail.

Well do you guys want it on a weekday or weekend night? The reason I did it early was because more times were available. Yahoo can only do so many drafts at once. For example, if we wanted it on Sunday Aug 30, there are no available times between 4pm and 10pm. We can do it on Aug 23 at 6:30 or 8:30. Or I can see what's available on weekdays if ya'll want.

I'm flexible from that standpoint - hell, I guess since there's no money on this one we can just keep it as is. I've never drafted this early.

I've never drafted this early either, but the only difference would be preseason injuries, but that's just something we're going to have to deal with.

For time's sake during the draft, I reduced the bench from 8 players to 5 and I took away 2 defensive players. This means 75 less picks total if we keep 15 teams. Hopefully we'll get one more team so we don't have a bye.

Ok, well it won't let us start the draft until we get one more team to sign up. Apparently odd number of teams aren't allowed in head to head leagues, which I seem to remember having been allowed in the past.

So sorry guys, but I moved the draft to 23 Aug at 7pm. Seems they opened some more time slots. In the mean time, we need one more team to sign up or one team to drop out. Hopefully we can find one more person before now and then.

It was limited at 16 teams but somehow someone registered a 17th team. I'm not sure who the last to register was, but whoever it is you're not going to be able to play. Sorry but now we have another odd number so we're in the same predicament as before. Or if someone doesn't want to play anymore, let me know.

Can you start the draft at 6pm Sunday? I have another yahoo draft at 8:30 and with how man teams we have I am afraid it will not be completed by then. Thanks for the consideration.

Ok I changed the settings to allow one more team, but you have to sign up like today or tomorrow at the latest. I want to get this all squared away.

Since we're having 2 extra teams than planned, I took away a couple roster spots so the teams don't get watered down.

I looked into changing the draft time to 6pm but there are no spots at that time. Sorry man, you'll just have to run 2 drafts at once.

LOL at Grant. Watch him win the damn thing. But as a cowboys fan, I still expect him to finish dead last. Every time I do a fantasy league, I always end up with 3 or 4 cowboys, I guess its just a personal preference, and its probably the reason why I never win.

i got drew brees and colston as wr... and brandon marschall, and thats about it thats worth anything this is my first year so im learning it all... how do i trade or anything

Brees and colston could be a good combo. Everytime colston catches a pass for a touchdown, both players will get 6 points, so look for that. As for marshall, good luck, thats a disaster waiting to happen. He doesn't want to play for denver, and kyle orton isn't exactly joe montana. Might want to think about dropping or trading him.
