Primers

It seems that ammo is coming back and is even affordable. What I cannot find is primers. All of my online sources, Cabelas, midway, nanchez, graf, midsouth ect. are out and not taking back orders. I saw some on the auction site for like $80/thousand and I just will not do that at this point. I haven't been to any guns shows in a while, are primers available and at what prices? I need some powder as well and most sites have it; I just hate to pay the hazmat fee for a purchase without primers.

Any suggestions other that just waiting this out?

The last 3 gun shows I've been to have had primers. Not a great selection, but they've had some. The last I went to was in April tho.

What is BPS?

Primers are still in short supply as are 30 cal 150gr bullets. Powder, brass and other stuff is pretty much easy to find now.

Thanks for the heads up but they are out of stock as of 4:30 am this morning. They must have not had much on hand or there were a lot of orders in a short period of time late at night. I went back early yesterday and checked every brand of small pistol, small rifle, and large rifle they had for notification. Perhaps I will be in on the next batch.

Just got an email from midway. Small pistol and large rifle avaiable. Got the email at 2:44 and checked with midway at 2:50 pm. Allready out of stock. Damn! I missed it by six minutes. Must be people on blackberrys or something getting the notice and ordering. Oh well, I will keep waiting.
