I crank up the volume to about -25 or higherand the receiver amp clicks off until I turn it down.
Pioneer says it is probably a bad coil within one of the speakers. I am supposed to unhook all the speakers and then hook them up one at a time and turn up the volume to see which speaker it may or may not be. If it does it with every speaker I am supposed to send in the receiver (VSX-D608) to Pioneer.
I don't want to send in the receiver since it would probably cost $50 or so to round trip ship it not to mention the repair costs.......I'd rather just buy a new receiver than to send this one back in since it is not under warranty.
