Pretty good! Not entirely accurate from what I read over the years, but very informative. He was the best pure hitter of all time, and lost almost 5 FULL YEARS of baseball during his prime: three years to WWII and two to the Korean War. He still had 521 HR's.

Was it a mini-series or just a one or two hour show? I really liked the John Adams mini-series HBO ran last year. I wish they would do more historical portraits of American icons/patriots like that more often!

It was 90 minutes long. Fairly detailed, mainly on his first few years in the league. It covers some strange things about/after his death, too. He had a couple of odd kids.

I swear I drove by the place that has his frozen head when I was in Scottsdale a few years ago.

His son's head is there, too. John Henry Williams died 2 years after Ted did, at age 35. Leukemia.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if they freeze you when you're dead, you're going to be dead when they thaw you out...correct?

I thought they froze him to preserve his DNA or something.
